Kara-Shoro State Natural National Park is a park in Kyrgyzstan created in August 1996 of 14,340.2 hectares. The aim of the park is the conservation of the natural biotope, including geological formations, hydrological regimes, flora and fauna and endangered species. The Kara-Shoro (Yassy or Jassy) river crosses the central part of the park.

The territory of the park covers more than 14,340 hectares, including 823.2 hectares of forest land and 7626.8 hectares of non-forest land.There are unique forests of spruce, walnut, juniper and a large part of the park is occupied by pastures. The main forest species is Tien Shan spruce (245 hectares).

The park is located on the south-eastern slopes of the Fergana range. The slopes reach 35-45 degrees and more. The lowest altitude in the park is 1,900 m above sea level, and the maximum - 3,500 m.

Dominant species protected by the park include subspecies of Schrenk spruce (Picea schrenkiana subsp. Tianschanica), Savin Juniperus sabina, Juniperus semiglobosa, Birch, Malus, Acer turkestanicum, Populus, Crataegus, Willow, Sorbus tianschanica and various shrubs. In addition, about fifty species of herbaceous planes are reported. Medicinal herbs found in the park include Mongolian Ephedra, Urtica dioica, Aconitum soongaricum, Adonis (Adonis chrysocyathus Hook.f. & Thomson) and Leonurus (Leonurus turkestanicus VIKrecz. & Kuprian.) .

The park is inhabited by 12 species of animals, 4 of which are listed in the Red Book of the Kyrgyz Republic: the brown bear, the Eurasian lynx, the snow leopard and Capreolus. Of the 21 bird species present in the park, 8 are included in the Red Book: sacred falcon, Pallas fishing eagle, Egyptian vulture, monk vulture, eastern imperial eagle, golden eagle, large bustard and white tailed eagle.
