This discovery takes you in the western part of the country, the chain to the Kyrgyz Ferghana. An amazing blend of landscape. Ski touring is very little known and some ecotourism partner collaborate with us for this adventure.

Program

D 1 / Manas International Airport - Suusamyr

Meeting at the Manas airport by our guide. Transfer to Suusamyr's valley, 3 hours drive through Kara Balta's canyon, the Toe Ashuu tunnel and panoramic view of Suusamyr's valley. Day rest and acclimatization. Dinner and night, depending on climatic conditions in homestay, guesthouse, refuge or yurts. Alt. 2250 to 3120 m.

D 2 / Day skiing at Suusamyr

Early morning, radial exit. Lunch in the mountain. Ride down to our BC. Freetime. Dinner at same place than day before.

D 3 / Suusamyr - Toktogul

Short radial exit this morning. Back to BC for lunch, then transfer to the South. We drive to Alabel pass, then down through the Chichkhan's canyon till the Toktogul reservoir. Night in homestay.

D 4 / Toktogul - Arslanbob village

Transfer to Arslan-Bob. Driving up to the Toktogul Dam. Picnic on the shore of the reservoir. then getting to the canyon raising over the Naryn River. On the main highway Osh-Bishkek drive to the Fergana Valley. Dinner in Djalal - Abad. Setting off for great walnut forests. Visiting a small waterfall sacred for local people. Overnight in homestay.

D 5 / Day skiing in Arslanbob

Early morning, radial exit to the CBT's pass. Lunch in the mountain. Ride down to our BC. Freetime. Dinner at same place than day before. Or returne to the village of Arslanbob.

D 6 / Day skiing in Arslanbob

Early morning start to ski in Jayloo Jaz-Jarym, lunch or small picnic, dinner, overnight in tent or come back to village to B&B house.

D 7 / Day skiing in Ozgorush

Early morning, radial exit. Lunch in the mountain. Ride down to the village. Bath, dinner, night in homestay.

D 8 / Skiing then road to Toktogul

Short radial exit this morning. Back to village for lunch, then transfer to Toktogul city. Folklore show. Night and dinner in homestay.

D 9 / Toktogul - Bishkek

Transfer to the Kyrgyz's capital, visit of the city. Night in guesthouse.

D 10 / Bishkek - Manas International Airport

Depending on your flight time, your guide will drive you from Bishkek to airport. Check-in. Flight back home or further.

(you're flying early in the morning or in the afternoon, your guide will stay with you and visit more places if time).

Remarks:

Since July 27, 2012, the visa is not any more required for the persons of Swiss, EU, US, Canadian and Japanese nationalities (in total 44 new countries, for more information visit nomadsland.kg); passport should be with minimum of 6 months validity for period of 60 days maximum. Vaccination is not mandatory.

Only our tour guide is authorized to take the necessary decisions. Prices are calculated daily and are subject to change in case of wide fluctuations in prices or exchange rates.

Though Kyrgyzstan evidenced caravans over 3000 years it is still a young developing country and infrastructure of villages is not at a very high level. Refusing hospitality might be offensive and in order to avoid misunderstanding one had better to read some guidebooks and other books about Kyrgyzstan before getting prepared to visit.

Base camps are diverse: permanent yurt camp east of Karakol, guest house in Chong Kemin and Arslanbob, shelters in Altyn Arashan and Chong Kyzyl Suu, yurts in Suusamyr. The choice of the guide will depend on the difficulty and the desired region. You can come with your guide, but we can also offer our Kyrgyz, Russian or Swiss guides.

Kyrgyzstan has 18 ski resorts. Most have a ski lift mechanics, often summary. We offer attractive programs to discover the best freeride spots.
