Ak-Tash Nomad's Land Yurt Camp

Welcome to Ak-Tash Yurt Camp!
Our cozy winter yurt camp lays in the heart of the Kyrgyz nature, at the entrance of the Chong Kyzyl Suu gorge, covered by Tien Shan pine trees looking over the red sandstone rocks. The eponym river flows in the vicinity of the camp.
The camp has 2 yurts for the guests with 6 beds each, a wooden Russian banya (sauna) and outdoor wooden improved toilets. Each yurt is equipped with a wooden floor, fire stove, and electricity to ensure the most authentic and still best comfort in a yurt. Guests sleep on Kyrgyz mattresses placed on an elevated platform to ensure thermal insulation.
6 person per yurt maximum, 12 beds capacity at the camp.
Meals are cooked by your host Albina. Feel free to participate in cooking if you want to, Albina loves transmitting her recipes to her guests. Meals are taken in the soviet style wagon and the table is always covered with the finest dishes of the Kyrgyz nomadic cuisine.
During your stay, you will be able to enjoy the surroundings and practice sport activities such as ski touring, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, horseback riding and hiking. The hot springs of Chong Kyzyl Suu are located 4km upstream, before reaching the soviet time geophysical scientific post located further in the valley.

Prices:
50 $ per person per night, including 3 meals and banya (Russian sauna).
50% discount for kids under 10 y.o.
Horseback riding 30 $ per person (min 2 participants) with a local horseman. Degressive price for larger groups (more than 4 persons)
Excursion to the hot springs 15$ per car (3 person per car).
