Nomad’s Land is an agency with a very high level of professionalism. Go there with your eyes closed and re-open them to admire the purity of the landscapes crossed. From the first emails exchanged to the taxi scheduled to return to the airport, everything is expertly managed by Fabien and his team. I chose to go to Kyrgyzstan to find skiing conditions a little different from France, I was not disappointed. The snow remains powdery for several weeks in this season. It's simple, there hasn't been a descent that hasn't happened in 5-star conditions. Gionas, our mountain guide knows these places perfectly. He always knew how to take us where it was the best of the best. But the skiing conditions almost take a back seat compared to the exchanges with the locals and the incredible landscapes in which we have been evolving for almost 15 days. Alex, our guide and steward, allows for a most immersive contact with Kyrgyz culture. The proposed program is balanced, intelligently constructed. There is something for everyone. One word, bravo !!

We had a wonderful 15 days in Kyrgyzstan and wholeheartedly recommend Nomad's Land to anyone the country would tempt - and believe us it is worth it! The team is as competent as it is cheerful and dynamic, with a real desire for ecotourism (it's not just marketing at home and that's a pleasure) and exploring off-track trails. We were able to walk the Kyrgyz mountain trails alone in the world, at our (good) walking pace and having the impression of being Kyrgyz for a little while in our life. We went for a 5 day full board trip with our guide Bakyt, of which 3 days was on horseback. Bakyt was extremely accomodating and serviceoriented throughout the trip. He really did go that extra step to make us comfortable. He offered an unplanned detour at little to no extra cost and he was very good at english. I really recommend Nomads land and especially Bakyt.

Spent two weeks in Kyrgyzstan, with one week dedicated to participating in a transhumance in the southern part of the country with the agency Nomad's Land. The journey was guided by Fabien, a Frenchman who has lived there for several years after falling in love with the region. The group consisted of only three tourists, the guide, and the entire shepherd family, embarking on a multi-day horseback trek to Lake Köl-Suu. As a complete novice in horseback riding, an entire day was spent with the horses before departure to become more comfortable, learn to ride, and saddle them. However, having prior horseback riding experience would undoubtedly make the experience more comfortable. The journey itself was exceptional, traversing vast valleys, plains, mountains, and landscapes as beautiful as they are immense. It is an ideal adventure for nature and wide-open space enthusiasts. A huge thank you to the hosts, who were always attentive, and to the guide from Nomad's Land for sharing a love for the culture, history, and country.

Tailor-made at a low price! The Nomad's Land team prepared with us the program we wanted without costing us a fortune, on the contrary, we were surprised at the advantageous price. We were very happy with our guides, in Uzbekistan as in Kyrgyzstan, always attentive, and very flexible. We have changed our program several times along the way, without it costing us anything. From the moment we arrived at Bishkek airport, we immediately felt safe and comfortable with our guide. Unforgettable moments spent within the local culture and traditions. And the desire to return there soon. Nomad's Land was recommended to you by friends after a trip through the Tajik and Kyrgyz Pamirs. their flexibility, adaptability and speed ...... and that's already so good

We spent this summer three weeks with family (parents and adult children) in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, with a trip to the city of Kashgar in Sinkiang (China) .Nomads' Land organized all the Kyrgyzstan and China part as well as the trips to Uzbekistan. You can work with them with your eyes closed: impeccable organization, enthusiastic and passionate guide (also speaking perfectly French), good choice of accommodation and activities. Very pleasant preparation with Fabien, who is attentive and has concocted a trip to us. All for good value for money. Allow at least 10 days for Kyrgyzstan to really enjoy it. The change of scenery is total and the way of life is authentic. Expect "average" comfort but the superb landscapes and the amazing welcome of the Kyrgyz people will give you unforgettable memories. To fully enjoy it, nothing like walking: you will go on beautiful hikes: Altyn Arashan, Song Kul, Lenin peak ... They are all doable but still require good condition, especially that of Lenin peak (base camp to camp 1), which is quite long and demanding (allow 10-12 hours round trip), but it is the most impressive. To reach the south of Kyrgyzstan, you have the choice between a few hundred km of tiring tracks or to make a detour through China and the city of Kashgar. The road is excellent and the city itself is worth the effort (with the added bonus of "Western-style" comfort which feels good). However, it was necessary to endure two days of painful police checks between Kashgar and the border, with an occupying army (Han Chinese, from the east) omnipresent. So it's up to you to decide (knowing that this "detour" is quite expensive considering the short season and the few tourists). After Kyrgyzstan, we visited the cities of the Silk Road in Uzbekistan: Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva. Impressive and superb monuments, a very rich history, few tourists and a very pleasant atmosphere. The historic centers are not very extensive and can easily be visited on foot. Do not forget Khiva: it is the smallest of the three but the atmosphere is peaceful and timeless, you sometimes have the impression of going back 100 years. This trip was really exceptional, thank you again to Fabien, Murat and the whole team.

Nomad's land organized a horseback riding trip to accompany Kyrgyz shepherds transhumance to the grasslands. It was a wonderful experience to live with the shepherds and their families and lead the flocks of sheep, goats, cows and horses to their summer camp. It was a great way to get to know these local families a little better, and it was made possible thanks to the long-term relationship and trust built between Nomad's Land agents and these shepherds for more usual tours taking travelers the the mountains. Our guide Fabien knows the region by heart and it was fascinating to see how he can place on his very little scale map all the landscapes and mountains range and summits we could see, as well as the grasslands that we were crossing, even when there was almost no road or track ! Fluent in French, English and Russian, his Kyrgyz language abilities are also growing day by day, making him our interpret every day and making the discussions with the families so much richer and interesting. Katja, another guide who accompanied the more experienced riders, astonished me with her knowledge of Kyrgyz language and about the horses culture in Kyrgyzstan. I totally recommend Nomad's Land and I would love to come back. All trips are special and their memories dear to me, but for sure this trip was extremely beautiful and special, as well as very well organized.

Working with Nomad's Land was amazing. I was able to completely customize my 3 day horseback tour through the Chong Kemin National Park. The guides they provided were amazing. As a group of two women, we felt incredibly safe and well taken care of the entire time. Will definitely work with Nomad's Land next time I'm in the region!

Went on a ski/yurt tour with them in Jan 2019. No complaints, driver and guide were excellent, homestays were good. Highly recommended, especailly when I hear from friends about other tours that were nowhere near as good with other companies! Would maybe head back, but snow quality very variable. Summer is the time to go, for hiking.

We arrived in Bishkek with no plans. We went to the Nomad's Land office and they were really helpful. They tailored a trip for us and the organisation was incredible. The best tour agency I've ever had. Highly recomended. I am so glad and thankful for choosing Nomad's Land for my Kyrgyz travel experience. They were the only tour that listened to my wishes and tried to implement them all. They literally left not even one desire unfulfilled: The other tours I contacted were unable to provide me with a yurt accommodation in lake Song-Köl. Nomad's Land was on the contrary very ccoperative. Especially once I knew that the yurt camp owners in Song-Köl waited extra for me before leaving, I was very touched. It seemed to me that Nomad's Land has a wide network of contacts in Kyrgyzstan and they have long and solid experience in the country. We booked a 8 day tour with Nomad's Land, with the main part of the trip a six-day trek in the mountains near Issyk-Kul lake. From the first contact with Nomad's Land they were really responsive, taking time to understand our needs and suggesting a trip that would work for us. As we were travelling quite early in the trekking season (mid-late May), the team made sure that our itinerary would be possible, making adjustments as required. Bakyt organised our trip and was really helpful all the way through the process. On arrival at the airport in Bishkek we were met by our guide Mikel and assistant guide Ivan, and were driven down to the lake by our excellent driver Shakir. The whole team were really welcoming. We spent the first night at Bel Tam Yurt camp which was lovely. Really relaxing and the food was amazing. The next day we started our trek which was incredible! We met our horseman, Ermek, and the two horses that carried all our equipment. This was really helpful so we didn't have too much to carry each day! On the first day the weather was lovely but the next morning we were greeted by a lot of snow! Because of this Mikel took the decision to change our route, which was definitely the right decision as going high in the snow might have been dangerous (and certainly very cold). The whole of the rest of the trip Mikel, Ivan and Ermek took the time to make sure what we were doing was the right thing for the weather conditions, and when we had to change plans they made sure we were consulted and agreed. The food Mikel prepared was really good, and the tents were comfortable, warm and waterproof. We had a great time in the mountains. After our trek ended we spent a day exploring the lake region, including visiting an eagle hunter and a yurt-making business, and on the final day we got to see a little of Bishkek. It was the perfect end to a great trip. Overall I would highly recommend Nomad's Land and the great service from all the team. Thank you!
